The Author

I was born to Christian parents. My father began as a Baptist schoolteacher and later became the pastor of a Baptist church. My mother was a devoted stay-at-home mom and the youngest daughter of one of the foremost deacons of Pilgrim Baptist Church in Nigeria.
I received both my primary (elementary) and secondary (high school) education in Christian (Baptist) schools. By the special grace of God, I professed faith in Christ at the age of eleven. My growth in the faith and my Christian maturity were gradual, shaped by years of serving the Lord in various capacities in two other Nigerian Baptist Convention churches before I finally answered the call to pastoral ministry.
Before entering ministry full-time, I briefly worked as an elementary school teacher and later in the Federal Civil Service. Eventually, I moved into the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, where, over the course of more than two decades, I rose to the position of Division General Manager. In these different roles, I encountered people and personally faced situations where temptations involving money, power, and sex were real and present.
Alongside my professional journey, I pursued academic growth. I earned a Master of Business Administration (Management), and then completed a four-year Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) at the Baptist Theological Seminary. Later, in the United States, I obtained both a Master of Theology (Th.M.) and a Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) in Pastoral Theology. Today, I serve as one of the four ordained ministers (Associate Pastors) at Community Baptist Church in Yonkers, NY, USA. By God’s grace, I have published four books between 2017 and 2024 and have shared many sermons through my YouTube channel and other social media.
Before relocating to the United States, I pastored Royal Priesthood Baptist Church in Aseese, Ogun State (near Lagos), Nigeria. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, with stay-at-home restrictions in place, I began preaching on YouTube as a means of continuing to spread the gospel of Christ. I have continued that ministry to this day.
I, Rev. Dr. Daniel U. Nwaelene, have been joyfully married to my wife, Patricia, for over forty-five years, and we are blessed with children and grandchildren, to the glory of God.
